Niagara Falls

This was the first trip for Reed and second for Don and Judy.

American side. The building in background is on the Canadian side. You are right on the edge of the water. You can feel and hear the power. Notice the mist.

Now, you are on the Canadian side, looking over to American side, where the above picture was taken.

On the Canada side, a must is taking "Journey behind the Falls." Not only will you be standing outside on this tour, you can walk down a tunnel and stand behind the waterfall -- powerful! Also, the Maid of the Mist boat tour gets you the closest. Notice everyone is in blue; those are raincoats.

This shot is from the bridge from the USA to Canada. In the background is the USA observation stand, USA falls on left and the Canada falls on right. This year we parked the RV on the USA side and walked across. You need to carry your passport and when you return to the USA, you save a quarter per person. The USA charges you to come back into the country.

Facts about Niagara Falls
