- We decided to semi-retire from regular work and become Workampers in June, 2002, and hit the road in our 40-ft RV. In our travels around this great country, we tour natural wonders and points of interest. We visit our family, who live coast to coast, stopping along the way to stay with friends. We find short-term employment to cover our expenses. Currently, we are traveling from Mexico to the east coast to spend time with family along the way.

Who Is Bailey?
We went to the Riverside Humane Society the first of December and found the perfect dog for Judy to walk. We call him Bailey; he is a rescued dog, between five and six years old. As best we can tell, he is a Soft Coated Wheaten Terrier and Briard mixed. Weighing in at 61.5 pounds, he could be a handful, but he’s not; he is a gentle, calm, mini-giant.
Bailey is great with kids and with our old dog, a 12-year-old schnauzer who is blind. Plus, Bailey and Kipper the cat are working on a relationship. If the cat moves slowly, he will not chase. The only problem we've had so far is he has to be where he can see us. He chewed through a leather leash and the seatbelt, but he didn’t run away. He just wanted to be close to us.
